Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) can be transmitted through vaginal, oral, or anal sex, as well as skin-to-skin contact. Many STIs do not cause symptoms, but they can still spread. Testing helps you know your status, get the right treatment, and protect both yourself and your partner.
Testing methods are divided into 2 types.
🩸 1. Blood test
Suitable for detecting infections spread through blood or body fluids, which may not show symptoms in the early stages.
HIV (4th generation) (HIV)
VDRL (syphilis)
HBsAg (hepatitis B virus)
Anti-HCV (hepatitis C virus)
STI testing with blood tests cannot detect all infections comprehensively
Some sexually transmitted infections require testing of body fluids or secretions for more accurate results.
🌸 2. Internal Sample Collection for STI Testing
Vaginal sample collection by an OB-GYN specialist ideal for those with symptoms or for routine screening.
Alternative sample options include urine or anal (rectal) testing, based on individual risk. ✔ 15 STI panel (PCR)
